First you do not speccified what version of UNIX (Solaris?) you are using. Anyway you must check the followin information: 1. Check path to include the path for your executables (i.e. /opt/oracle7/bin and /opt/oracle7/lib)
2. Check if you have the following envoronmental variables
- ORACLE_SID
- ORACLE_HOME
- if you have the database in a net check for the environmental variable TNS_ADMIN. Once you have set this path and these envornmentals you should heve it working.
If you are using SOlaris 2.5 check your auto-home. If you are using .cshrc you can modified those, depending on the user. Received on Sun Mar 24 1996 - 00:00:00 CET
