We are running Oracle Reports2.0 using X-term on a HP-Unix machine. We generally redirect the output to a file from the previewer.. (postscript).. and the reports are printed OK.. But when we try to run the reports at the UNIX-prompt with this command:

 R20RUN userdid= XXXX module=XXXX batch=YES destype=file

               desname=xxxx desformat=psport paramform=no..

gives an output but all the spacing.. fonts.. etc are messed up. So we tried to
 run the same file giving another parameter MODE=bitmap.. which gives  a report error saying:

      ''It can not be run in the background or this mode is
       not supported in this environment"

 Can someone suggest what all environments can we run reports2.0 in  batch modes from command line.??.. Looking in the Help.. I realized that  it can be done in motif...

 Any suggestions are appreciated......
