Oracle provide a Conversion utility (for Ingres as well as other databases) which has reasonable stab at automatically converting your entire database (not procedural code). Don't expect miracles, wheras it is OK for small, simple databases I had to rewrite most of the Ingres component to get it to work against a database of moderate complexity.
