Anja:

What both of us missed were the init.ora parameters that have to be set for the automatic snapshot refresh process to be enabled. I too had all the snapshot details set up, and I could refresh manually, but the automatic refresh would never kick in! The init.ora parameters required are described in the manual that Dany has indicated.
