Summary:

This is a support position within Autodesk Data Publishing's data management function. It involves interacting with and supporting content providers and includes processing, validating, and integrating all data received from them into Data Publishing products. It requires working with a small team to meet deadlines on a growing list of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Make important individual contributions in a small team environment.
  • Communicate with and assist Data Publishing partners in providing content which meets defined standards. Prioritize and act on requests. Perform validation tasks including virus checking, file organizing and management, conformity with drawing standards, database integrity, and reporting.
  • Responsible for maintaining contact administration, including a filing system of all content received from, and communications with, content providers.
  • Responsible for delivering accurate and complete content for integration into Data Publishing products.
  • Participate in the definition, design, setup, and testing of applications and tools for automating the capture, format, and validation of content for Data Publishing products.
  • Assist in providing business-critical information by consolidating and reporting the status and quality of content received from manufacturing partners and other providers.

Requirements:

  • DOS and Windows file management experience with emphasis on large systems
  • Familiar with database management software or willingness to learn * Good analytical skills and attention to detail * Strong organizational skills
  • Two to Four years computer experience, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, graphic, and file management (Xtree) packages
  • Strong skills with MS Access or other database applications * Mechanical or architectural drafting or design experience highly desirable
  • AutoCAD experience desirable
  • Experience writing Make scripts desirable * BA or BS degree (or equivalent experience)
