This page tries to describe the pluses and minus of RAID implementations as they particularly relate to databases. It is based on personal experiences, conversations with other DBAs and system managers, readings of RAID technology, and discussions which occur in the COMP.DATABASE newsgroups.
Don't take the Page as cardinal rules, but as a place to start contemplation....
