AARRGH !! PO7 wont create tablespaces !!

Ok! I've read the bloody docs, I've tried just about everything, I give up !!

First the framework :

I've installed PO7 Trial ok!
Then I've installed Developer/2000 Trial ok! Then I got the official legal copies of Dev/2000 and Designer/2000

What I wanna do ?? maintain PO7 and use Designer/2000 against it.

I de-install Dev/2000 trial apps.
I install Designer/2000 1.2 ok!

Then on the docs it says that for a Designer/2000 Repository instance I should create a new tablespace to store the tables and indexes for Des/2000.

And then the problems begin ...

SQL*Plus says is can't create the tablespace, bcause it can't create the file, bcause of a specific OS error OS-09111 (I believe)

So what gives ??

What is the problem with creating new tablespaces with PO7 ??

Can I use Designer/2000 against PO7 (Windows) ?

I would really like to use those tools in Warp's Win-OS/2, can that be done ? I know those tools are supported in Win-OS2 but I was unable to get them to work...

Can a kind soul help this poor guy??
