Ha! CBO still doesn't appear to run correctly!! A bad catch (Oracle claims different) is that the statistics on the obj you are using CBO on MUST be up to date. If you use old stats, you will get bogus results. If M.Abbey is out here somewhere I'm sure he'll repsond as well.

Good Luck (I used RBO on a new database, and will compare w/CBO going forward in more depth) !
