Oracle Reports v2.0 installation

Hello,
We are using Oracle Server 7.1.4.1.0 on HP - UX 9000 with UX 9.04 as the operating system. We have to install Oracle Reports 2.0 now from Oracle CDE which is in form of CDs.
I have gone through the installation and configuration guide on 'Oracle CDE for HP 9000 series' and have come to following conclusions.
- I shall have to do the installation on the Server side.
- I shall not have to do a complete installation.I can do it for an Oracle Product.
MY doubts are :-
- Will I have to link the Oracle Reports executable with the existing Oracle Server?
- Does this installation require a database name or an instance to create any database objects? Or are some scripts like (catrpc.sql) generated during installation which have to be applied to the database?
