You dont mention what protocol adapters you use. We use SQL*NET 2.2.2 with TCP with Win 3.1 and have it installed on
Novell servers . All you need to do is install SQL*NET from a workstation pointing it to a network drive. On all other PC`s add your oracle "BIN" directory to the PATH and copy the "ORACLE.INI" file to the "BIN" directory make sure that none of these PC`s have a local "ORACLE.INI" elsewhere in the path. If you use the TCP adapter you also need to copy the "VSL.INI" to each PC`s WINDOWS directory. This has proven to be quite stable a configuration that can be automated.
