Couple of things. Make sure you are using OPO 1.04 or higher (1.012 is the latest). The OrderBy property should work for the DETAIL section. It did when I last used it. But I too, have seen weird behavior. Another good resource is a new OPO book OPO Developer's Guide from oracle Press. The guys that wrote it know more about OPO then anyone else. And their reporting section is pretty good.
