When I call a function stored in the database from developer/2000 running
on PC (windows 3.1) which takes a long time to run (approx 3-5 mins - it
does lots of inserts and updates to the database), I do not get Hour Glass
(waiting..) on the screen. It says Working.. on the message line but you
know hard that's to notice. With usual arrow type cursor on the screen
(with database function running), it's confusing for users, they keep on
clicking everywhere while the function is running and then all those
things (where ever user clicked) happen !
Any idea why it may not be displaying Hour Glass ? Any work-around ? Any explicit call to make it display hour glass ? Received on Wed Jan 24 1996 - 00:00:00 CET
