From the Release 7.2 Oracle7 Server Messages guide:

ORA-00960 ambiguous column naming in select list

    Cause A column name in the order-by list matches more than one

           select list column.

    Action Remove the duplicate column naming in the select list.

I would look at the entire select statement including the order by and make sure that Access is fully qualifying the order-by as well.
