Bug in ODBC ver. 1.11.01.05 ?

Hi!
I have two identical tables, one in Oracle 6.0 (Ultrix) and one in Oracle 7.1 (NT Server 3.51)
connected to Access 2.0 via ODBC ( ver. 1.11.01.05 ), and if I try to update 7.1 from 6.0 e.g.:
INSERT INTO Table_A_71
SELECT Table_A_60.* FROM Table_A_60
Everything works just fine as long as the table doesn't contain a number field with scale,
which reports error ORA-1722!
(Hint! If I change the International settings from decimal point to decimal comma,
the query runs OK but truncates the decimal fraction of the number )
Is this a known problem or is there anyone out there who knows what I'm doing wrong!
