We currently use a LANINIT.MID file when starting up the Oracle database in SQLDBA line mode. I found that I can also startup our Enterprise db in Personal Oracle 7 alos. Does anyone know what will happen if I startup Oralce 7.0 in Personal 7 without the Laninit.mid file?
