Hewlett-Packard provides database performance monitoring for Oracle, Sybase, and Informix databases. With the new HP MeasureWare Database Modules you can collect database information such as space, session, and tuning metrics. Data from the MeasureWare Database Modules is automatically delivered to the HP MeasureWare Agent where it is time stamped, logged, and alarmed.

Because the new MeasureWare Database Modules stores information in the MeasureWare Agent, the user can use HP PerfView to get a complete view of the distributed computing environment by analyzing database measurements in relationship to other measurements (e.g., operating system, network, and application) that are stored in the MeasureWare Agent log files.
