Why would this scenario require point-in-time recovery? If your read-only tablespace is the same as its last cold backup, why not restore the volume and restore the cold backup? Am I missing Something?
Point-in-Time is used to recover to a point just before a VST (Very Stupid Transaction) hosed your data, not media loss.
