It's worth noting that ORA-03113 is a common symptom with a variety of causes, including failure of the network connection (hardware or software). Two instances of this error at different product release levels, on different systems, in different applications, and/or with different network protocols are not likely to result from the same cause.
If your particular ORA-03113 clearly matches the circumstances of a known bug with that symptom then it is worth trying the associated patch. Otherwise you may need to gather network traces or other data and work with Oracle Support to get a diagnosis.
