If you mean Oracle appls (i.e. Forms & Reports) with Oracle RDBMS (V7 or V6, although V6 has some limitations), then you can use the reverse engineer utilitiies (in the Repository Object Navigator, under the Utilities menu item). I'm not sure about the capabilities for reverse-engineering non-Oracle shtuff, though...
