Uh, Glenn, keep your line length under 78 chars, your message got severely clipped in my newsreader.

I'd recommend at least 66MHz CPU, 24M RAM, 500M disk, and a serious multi-tasking OS like NT for development.

For deployment, 66MHz CPU, 16M RAM, 500M disk. It'll run alright under Windows, but be very sure you have enough permanent swap space configured.

If you're going to try to run Dev/2000 and Oracle 7 on the same box, I'd recommend a 90MHz Pentium, 32M RAM, 1G HD, and definitely a real OS.
