I'm trying to run the sample Pro*C programs on a SCO-Unix PC. This fails with the error message: ORA-6400 "NETCMN: No default host string specified".
The database is running at the same PC as the sample programs, and I got no compiler or linking errors.
I'm using the makefile proc.mk and the sample *.pc programs in the demo directory.
My oracle ver. is 7.1.6, and the Pro*C rel. is 2.0.6.0.0.
What's wrong?
