We had similar problems and were really pulling our hair out.
The solution to your problem might come from one of two areas:
- By upgrading to Forms 4.5.6 solved an enormous number of these problems.
- or if you are already at that version then there is a documented 'feature' that is also worth avoiding as it will cause GPF's every time. This revolves around closing a maximised property sheet whilst in the layout editor which will cause Forms to GPF every time. What you must do is get into the habit of avoiding to use a maximised property sheet. Since we discovered this 4.5 feature we have not had any GPF's whilst using Forms 4.5.6.
