A New Approach to Data Migration

DCLE Provides Answer for Challenges of Moving to Client/Server Systems

October 1, 1995; Austin, TX. A new tool for high speed, object-oriented manipulation and transfer of data from mainframe to client-server environments was released today by Reliant Data Systems, Inc. The new software package, Data Conversion Language/Engine(tm) (better known by its acronym DCLE v.2.1, or "Diesel") is a platform independant, workhorse application that allows for streamlined management of all processes, workgroups, data objects and information flows during the migration process.

"Reliant's unique strategy is to provide a system that, coupled with minimal
consulting hours, allows clients to take control of their own data conversions," comments J. Todd Coleman, President of Reliant Data Systems.
"The DCLE represents a huge leap over currently available software
providing the user with substantial savings in both the dollars and manpower necessary to fulfill the task. The system is not just an evolution, but a revolution in data conversion technology."

Minimizing start-up preparation time, DCLE is preprogrammed for a variety of platforms, including Sybase, Oracle, Informix, MS SQL Server and other RDBMS. Interfaces with Windows 95, MS Windows, DOS, and Unix are also available.
