So, what's the point? You might want to have the SysAdmin people run whatever utilities they have (if this is Unix, SAR would be a good place to start) to look at the activity on the dis. If there's a bottleneck, then that should be reason enough to move things around. If there's no bottleneck, then I would have to agree with him.
