I used the default WINSOCK that comes with WIN95. I'm not sure, but I get the impression that this is NOT optional. In the ORACLE.INI file the following should be specified...

TCP_VENDOR=WINSOCK Received on Thu Oct 19 1995 - 00:00:00 CET
