Oracle has had an MVS port of the database products since 1986. Recently, we re-bundled some of the products into the Oracle for MVS Client Solution. This bundle includes:

1 Access Manager (for CICS or IMS/TM)
	1 SQL*Net Protocol (TCP/IP or APPC/LU6.2)
	1 Pre-compiler (Pro*C, Pro*COBOL, Pro*PL/I)
	SQL*Loader
	SQL*Plus

This set of products allows TSO, Batch, CICS and IMS/TM applications to access Oracle servers located throughout your enterprise. Additionally, we use CICS and IMS/TM as recovery managers allowing you to have two phase commit between Oracle and other CICS and IMS/TM recoverable resources. (You would just use SYNCPOINT in your CICS or IMS/TM transaction programs).

Hope this helps.
