I have a cron job which runs once per week and analyzes all tables not owned by SYS and SYSTEM.
Can anyone explain why the following happens? Is it a bug, any workarounds?
analyze table SYSADM.LUCAS_WORK1 estimate statistics sample 33 percent

ERROR at line 1:

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
We're running Oracle 7.1.4 on HP/UX.
