I have around ten years exp ina whole range of stuff. Work for people like Cray Research in network comms SWD.

	TCP/DECNET/OSI/SMTP/POP/X400/X500/...
	C/ADA/Perl/FORTRAN/COBOL/Pascal/...
	WWW/HTML/CGI/DBI/...
	Oracle/Ingres/Paradox/ODBC/...

I currently get paid just UNDER 30K, and am quite happy with this :-).

The point I am making is that 30 K UK pounds is a hell of a lot more than 30 K US dollars...
