Swarthmore College's Computing and Communication Services has an immediate opening for two Programmer/Analysts. These are full-time, two year positions. We seek experienced programmer/analysts to assist with the conversion of our administrative software (AIMS) running in a PICK/Universe environment to SCT's Banner product running Oracle FORMS on an Oracle 7.2 database server on the Unix operating system.

Minimum requirements are three years experience as a programmer/analyst in applications programming in a relational database environment, a Bachelor's or Associate's degree, and experience analyzing business problems and designing and programming RDBMS applications. Experience with the Oracle database and Oracle's tools (PRO*C, PRO*COBOL, PL/SQL, database triggers, and FORMS 4.x) required.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team-based environment.
