The MITRE Corporation is an independent, not-for-profit organization
operating in the public interest that provides technical assistance,
system engineering, and acquisition support to U.S. Government
agencies. Located along Route 128, amid one of the largest
concentrations of technical corporations and universities in the
country, MITRE is actively seeking technical professionals with
expertise in database technology.
A database designer/architect is needed to design and develop
real-time and high performance database management systems for next
generation command and control applications. This position will draw
upon expertise in designing systems to meet requirements of time
critical applications and knowledge of object oriented modeling and
analysis for representing the applications and analyzing data
dependencies. Additional expertise in parallel commercial database
management system products is desirable.Requirements include BSCS/MSCS
and 5+ years of applicable experience. U.S. Citizenship is also
required.
