The MITRE Corporation is an independent, not-for-profit organization
operating in the public interest that provides technical assistance,
system engineering, and acquisition support to U.S. Government
agencies. Located along Route 128 in the Boston area, amid one of the
largest concentrations of technical corporations and unversities in
the country, MITRE is actively seeking professionals with expertise
in database technology.
An experimental researcher with a PhD in CS or a related field is
needed to work on a variety of research and development projects in
data management. These include data mining for unstructured databases,
integration of heterogeneous database systems, and the application
of distributed object management for integrating real-time/
heterogeneous data management systems. Experience in benchmarking
relational and object oriented database systems is also desirable.
U.S.Citizenship is required.
