Export Error

We have an v7.1.4 database on a Sparc20(Sol2.4). Everytime we try to export a table we get a series of error messages. All other objects export just fine. The error messages are:

EXP-00008:   ORACLE error 4068 encountered
ORA-04068:  existing status of packages has been discarded
ORA-04067:  not executed, package body "SYS.DBMS_SQL" does not exist
ORA-06508:  PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called
ORA-06512:  at "SYS.DBMS_EXPORT_EXTENSION" , LINE 16
ORA-06512:  at line 1

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
