Hi,

It all depends on what you are trying to learn about Oracle... If you are looking at learning how to administer a database that simulates a production system you would need lots of data. If you are wanting to understand how to SQL, PL/SQL, or the front - end tools I don't believe you need a large database.

Go for it...
