Hi,

    I dont know in which context you are using. With forms3.0 as an example you can set the ECHO field attributes off, once the user tries leaving the form you can display dummy/wild characters or you can display ascii characters. While you press key-commit you can get back the original value. This may be little bit complicated if there are multiple fields needing password encryption. Hope this helps.
