Okay, someone decided to go ahead and delete a file that contained the rollback tablespace. Is there a way to resurrect the database? If not, is there a way to connect to the database so that the files can be recreated?
Fortunately, the data isn't important -- it's just a test database -- but I'd really prefer to find a better way of re-creating the database than re-installing Oracle, which is what we've been doing lately.
I thought this could be done by editing the INIT.ORA file, but haven't had any luck with that.
Thanks,
Matt
