Raise Application Error and Power Objects

I have used 'Raise application_error' clause in the exxception block in a stored procedure but am unable to handle it in my client application i.e. Oracle Power Objects.
Can anyone give me some idea how to handle return value of 'raise application_error in the client program (Power Objects)?
