We're running ORACLE 7.0.16, SQL*Net V1, with Solaris 2.4. We tried setting these parameters (we used 600000 - 10 minutes, rather than 60000 - 1 minute), but the "dead" connections still won't go away. Do we need to restart orasrv, or are we missing something here....
