US & CANADA - ORACLE POST-SALES TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS

Locations:

Based out of SSA regional offices, relocation is typically NOT required.

The opportunity:

In-depth experience with Unix client/server, major RDBMS (Oracle, Informix, Sybase), C, networking (TCP/IP) and topologies.

The Technical Consultant is heavily relied upon by the Technical Services Manager and Account Executive in achieving engagement objectives.

Qualifications:

o 3+ years Oracle experience, preferably in HP/UX or AIX o experience with logical to physical data modeling o coding experience with C or C++ is important; 4GL coding experience alone

   is not sufficient
o solid command of these language and operating environments is necessary and

   should be demonstrable from previous work experience o end user interface

Desirable, though NOT required:

o DBA experience
o exposure to CASE tools and methodologies o business, and in particular manufacturing applications experience o consulting experience
