Hi People,

I posted a similar question earlier this year but rec'd minimal response...any feedback would be much obliged!!!

We're currently using older, Informix-based telemanagement systems to support our call accounting, telecom billing, and facilities management. We have quickly outgrown these, and they simply no longer meet our needs.

We are currently undergoing a conversion to Oracle (driven by our purchase of SCT's Banner system). Because we would like to maintain a homogeneous DB environment, we're interested in an Oracle-based telemanagement system.

Are any of you running, or have encountered, such a system? Or any others that market themselves as "platform independent"? Any recommendations, opinions, etc would be much appreciated.

We're looking for something that could support multiple sites, billing by authcodes and extensions. The ability to poll raw call records into DB tables would be nice, as well as real-time costing. We're looking at GUI front ends on Windows/WFW clients with a separate DB server. Basically something "of current technology" :-)

We're researching Telco Research's Tru-Server product (who is supposed to have an Oracle-based version later this year), and I'm currently expecting some info on Pinnacle Software's Axis Telemanagement System. A few people over here have shown some interest with Telemate, which is NOT RDBMS-driven, but still appears to be a comprehensive product.

Any opinions on these or others would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
 STEVE
