bing! sorry but you don't do kernel rebuilds on aix.

i cheated, i wrote a 5 line script that looked for dead connections, found the process numbers, killed the process and then went to sleep for a bit. ok ok maybe it was 6 lines, i forget. obtw this will not always work sometimes you need to reboot to clear the socket. sorry but i don't know whose fault it is. but if the code is as fine a quality as the oracle install's ...... ;-)
