I read the latest ORACLE MAGAZINE in the article "Configuring and Tuning Oracle7 for SCO UNIX ...". In this article, they author said, "(If you are using asynchronous I/O and Oracle can lock down memory for it, the SGA will not be swappable.)
- Does this mean that the SGA would not be able to be swapped or paged out of memory. If so, is this true for other UNIX flavors (Solaris, SunOS, HP/UX, AIX, etc).
