Hello,

I just purchased Designer/2000 and I really like it a lot. However, I am fairly new to business process modeling. Since I am on a tight budget, I can't afford to have a consultant come in and help with the process modeling side of things. So, my other option is to do it myself. The business I work for is a small manufacturing company. The system I will be writing is a manufacturing information system. My question is, are there any business process models out there that I can use as a starting point for our new system. I know each business does things differently, but the standard functions are the same, such as order entry, inventory control, prduction management. I have heard that there may be some third party companies that supply prepackaged repositories for Designer/2000. I guess I'm just looking for some detailed examples of some of the business process to get started with. Any help would be appreciated.
