Without looking it up in the manual I don't know the max but if there is one it isn't 20. I have lots of tables with more than 20 columns (including one with over 100). Please post more details ... like:

• what do you mean by problems?
• what errors are you getting?
• does the user have resource authority?
• is there enough memory (space) allocated to the user trying to do the create?
• what environment are you in when you try to create the table?
• what oracle version are you running?
• what does your create statement look like?
