I would tend to agree with you. I've surfed this area for a short time and the only questions or remarks that pertain to your interests are usually related to what tools people are using for Data Modeling, how people are implementing data warehouses, etc.

With respect to questions asked about how to resolve a data-modeling question, it is rare. Typically, this issue is raised when a person is asking for help and upon further review the respondent will question the data model structure. In other words, I have found that most people are not aware of their lack of Data Modeling skills until their application cannot easily address a problem due to poor design. It is at that time that help is required, but the respondent has most likely provided the recommendation. And if that recommendation, for lack of a better word, sucks...others are always willing to provide their two cents.

While your question/interest does sound interesting, I am uncertain as to how you would implement it. I hope others provide you will some form of feedback on this issue. That is the only way you will be able to predict interest levels Received on Mon Aug 07 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
