To my knowledge, the answer would be 'No'. Create a clone of the table you
wish to change ownership on. Of course, you should be attached to Oracle as
the new owner or as SYSTEM when performing this task.
In v7.2x, this method becomes more appealing as the DBA will have the ability
to
turn-off logging for individual transactions.
