Can't cancel long query

Using Oracle Browser 2.0 for Win connected with SQL*Net 2 to an HP-UX box running 7.1.4, I am unable to sucessfully cancel long queries.

It shows me the old hourglass for a long time, and then eventually GPFs.

Support says it's a "known problem" with some versions of SQLNet (inability to respond to a cancel.) Can anyone verify/expand on this? Is there a version of SQL*Net out yet that fixes this? Received on Fri Jul 28 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
