Hello, all -- we're in the midst of planning some development work in SQL*Forms 4.0 (soon to be 4.5), with a two-fold target execution environment: native X under SunOS/Solaris (OpenWindows), and running on a Windows PC accessing the application via Exceed's X-Windows emulator.

We've already dabbled with how to map the fonts correctly, and have a solution )basically, creating pseudo-fonts on teh PC side that catch all the font requests from the X client, and map to a TrueType font in Windows), but are not committed to that strategy, and would appreciate any advice.

Most importantly, though, is that we would like to be able to single-source the application -- only have one version of each form. But we're having trouble with the reproportioning of the fields that needs to take place in order for a window to be presented in the X-Window session on the PC. Specifically, our fields and pushbuttons become too short height-wise, and we're having difficulty finding a compromise that looks good in both environments.

We'd appreciate any recommendations, or pointers to resources that we could explore.

Thanks.
