Dave,

   Our company uses another DBMS on Alpha OpenVMS and we are LAST on the porting list to get releases, bug fixes etc. We are considering moving to HP UNIX simply because of the increased DBMS support.

Out of curiousity ... why are you moving from Alpha OpenVMS to AIX. Does Oracle not support the DEC platforms (even DEV UNIX) as well as the real UNIX shops?????
