Dear Sirs,
I would apreciate *any* information regarding the following problem:
Whenever a connection between a Windows client ( SQLPlus, SQLWindows Wintalk ) and the ORACLE server is broken abnormally, the session at the ORACLE server is not finished. It keeps hanging until a shutdown is done at the server.
It happens no matter what version of the SQLNet we are using, version 1 ( orasrv ) or version 2 ( listener: lnsrctl ).
These are the versions we are using :
Windows Client: Windows 3.1 PC/TCP 3.0 SQL Plus 3.1.3.5.4 SQLNet TCP/IP 1.1.9.0.a SQLNet 2.1.4.1.4 Oracle TCP/IP adapter 2.1.4.1.3.a Server: DEC OSF/1 V3.2 (Rev. 214) ORACLE Server 7.1.6.2.0 TNS 2.1.6.1.0 NLSRTL 2.3.6.0.0 Thank you in advance, Paulo MottaReceived on Fri Jul 21 1995 - 00:00:00 CEST
