Bare Minimum Skills Needed To Be Considered:
- 5 years MINIMUM hands-on DBA experience with one or more
of the following relational databases:
- Oracle
- Sybase
- Informix
- Ingres
- MUST have strong experience in one or more of the following:
- Data Modeling
- Logical and Physical Design
- Performance Tuning on Very Large Databases
- Strong UNIX Skills
Other Skills or Experience that would be desirable:
- Data Mining
- Data Warehousing
- Tandem NonStop SQL
Expectations About the Candidate:
The selected individuals will have high-level skills, leadership skills and very good business savvy.
Other Job Requirements:
- Ability to be willing to travel 50% - 75% of the time. This person would be assigned to consult to a project that could be anywhere in the US.
The person **DOES NOT** need to live in the Denver area. Many of the employees in this division spend much less than 50% of their time traveling. Many of their people are married with families and don't have a problem, but there is always the possibility that the travel time could be 50-75% and the person would need to commit to that.
